Privacy Policy

My Signal Board · Last updated July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how My Signal Board (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and product at mysignalboard.com and related domains (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account and profile

When you create an account or finish post-checkout setup, we collect your email address, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and name if you provide one.

Leads and marketing

When you enter your email at checkout or signup, we store it as a lead along with brand, source (checkout or signup), selected plan or offer (if any), and a record that you agreed to receive marketing messages. By providing your email in those forms, you agree to receive marketing messages and can opt out at any time.

Subscriptions and payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive and store subscription-related information such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, status, price identifier, billing period end, and cancellation flags. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data.

Product analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used. This may include page views, funnel events (for example quiz completion, pricing views, checkout started/completed), and aggregate quiz results such as score and readiness tier. Individual quiz answers are kept in your browser session for the quiz flow and are not stored in our database as per-question responses. Server-side events may use your email as an analytics identifier when you start checkout.

Advertising measurement

We use Meta Pixel (browser) and Meta Conversions API (server) to measure ads and conversions. This may include event names (such as PageView, ViewContent, InitiateCheckout, Purchase), hashed email, IP address, browser user agent, Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp / _fbc when present), page URL, and purchase-related details (value, plan, order id).

Technical and usage data

Like most websites, our hosting and application logs may include IP address, user agent, timestamps, and request metadata needed to operate and secure the Service. Authentication uses session cookies managed by our auth provider (Supabase).

What we generally do not collect

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, government IDs, or phone numbers in the product today. We do not store your full card number.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, and improve the Service and your account
  • Process trials, subscriptions, receipts, and customer support
  • Send transactional messages (account, billing, password reset, checkout follow-up)
  • Send marketing messages when you have agreed (you may opt out anytime)
  • Measure product funnels and advertising performance
  • Detect abuse, prevent fraud, and comply with law

3. How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run the Service, including:

  • Supabase — authentication, database (accounts, subscriptions, leads, feedback, product data)
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing
  • Meta — advertising measurement (Pixel and Conversions API)
  • PostHog — product and funnel analytics
  • Hosting / infrastructure (for example Vercel) — serving the app and related logs

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell your personal information as a standalone data product.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication (session), analytics (PostHog), and advertising measurement (Meta). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit parts of the Service (especially login).

5. Retention

We retain account, subscription, and lead records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. Analytics and ad platforms retain data according to their own policies. You may request deletion of your account data subject to legal retention needs.

6. Your choices

  • Marketing: Opt out via unsubscribe links in emails or by contacting us at privacy@mysignalboard.com.
  • Account: Update profile details in the product where available, or contact us to correct or delete account information.
  • Subscription: Cancel or manage billing from your account settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, portability, objection). Contact us to exercise them. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

7. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International users

We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data-protection rules than your own.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
